# ADDING CONTEXT FILES

> Uploading context files to Oumi

Oumi allows you to bring in unstructured source material directly to enrich your models with proprietary knowledge and domain-specific context. By uploading files in the form of internal documents, knowledge repositories, or other private content, you can incorporate domain-specific context into your data workflows and model development process.

## UPLOAD CONTEXT FILES

To upload context files from your local computer:

1. Click on `Files` from the left-hand navigation.
2. Click the `Upload File` button.
3. Give your file a `Display Name` and drag/drop or select your file to upload.

Your new file will appear on the **Files** page once the upload finishes.
