You can safely store and manage API credentials in Oumi for external providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini. Registering provider keys at the project level allows teams to access approved models for evaluation and data synthesis, while keeping centralized control and governance over all external integrations.

Third-party API key storage

To use your API accounts with external providers, first register the corresponding API key with your project:
  • Go to Project Setting -> API Keys
  • Click Add a Key.
  • Enter your provider name and corresponding API key.
  • After clicking Add Key, it will appear under the API Keys section.
When you select a model for evaluation or data synthesis, your new provider’s models will now appear as options prefixed with the vendor name.
